Quick definition: The Contract Performance Report (CPR) was a set of up to five standard report formats showing a contract's cost and schedule performance in Earned Value terms. The CPR was superseded by the Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), which was in turn superseded by the Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR).

The five formats covered performance by Work Breakdown Structure, performance by Organizational Breakdown Structure, baseline changes, staffing, and variance explanations. The CPR is obsolete.

The CPR gave customers standard, comparable EVM data across contracts and contractors, instead of each project reporting its own way.
