Quick definition: Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) is another name for the Estimate at Completion (EAC): the current forecast of what the work will cost when it's finished.
LRE and Estimate at Completion (EAC) are used interchangeably, and this encyclopedia treats them as the same thing. The figure is cumulative Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) plus the Estimate to Complete (ETC), at whatever level it's prepared. See Estimate at Completion for details.
